This tool is designed to be gentle on the labium and can adjust the volume of a soprano recorder. Attach it as shown in the photo and adjust the volume by turning the tool sideways. You can freely adjust the sponge that covers the labium (window) yourself, so you can change the volume to suit your environment. If you turn the sponge to the position where the labium is fully open, you can produce almost the normal volume. If you completely block the window, the recorder will no longer make a "beep" sound, and will only make a "whisper" sound. If you gradually turn down the volume, at a certain point, the following will occur. Please note that this is not a malfunction. 1. The pitch will drop by about a semitone. 2. It will become difficult to produce high notes. The pitch dropping by a semitone in "1." refers to the phenomenon of singing in a lower key at karaoke. In the case of "2.", the stronger you blow, the more resistance you feel and the more difficult it will be to produce a sound. The solution is to blow more gently than usual, as if you were trying to produce a low "C" note, and be careful to blow gently into the edge of the instrument. This may make it easier to produce. Please try this. Note: This instrument contains some adhesive and bamboo powder, so if you have any allergies, please do not use this instrument. Please do not use this product if you are having trouble using it. Furthermore, we have posted a Q&A section on our website for when you have trouble using the product. You can also jump to the Q&A section from the QR code in the instruction manual. Please be sure to take a look at it as it will help you use the product more effectively.
