Focal reducer lens mount adapter for attaching to Sony NEX/α.E mount camera body
The structure of LensTurbo2's focal reducer lens is designed to be optimized for Sony NEX/α.E mount series APS-C size image sensors, resulting in less image quality deterioration in the periphery compared to the original LensTurbo. When attached to an APS-C size sensor camera, you can take pictures at the original angle of view (full size). Reducer lenses have high light collection efficiency, so the F value is one stop brighter.
When used with a 50mm lens: 50mm*1.5 (APS-C focal magnification) * 0.726 (LensTurbo focal magnification) = equivalent to 55mm angle of view. When used with 35mm lens: 35mm*1.5 (APS-C focal magnification) * 0.726 (LensTurbo focal magnification) = equivalent to 38mm angle of view.
