[High rigid housing] Type 622 uses aluminum as the housing material, which achieves both rigidity and lightness. Based on MADOO's design philosophy that the rigidity of the housing affects the sound quality, the housing shell is made sufficiently thick and the surface is sandblasted to increase rigidity and create a finish that does not compromise on sound quality. The housing is designed by experienced metalworking engineers and manufactured using a high-precision multi-axis CNC cutting machine. The concept window material is sapphire crystal, which boasts a Mohs hardness of 9, achieving heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and excellent durability that ordinary glass or plastic materials cannot have. In addition, the air gap created by the window plays a role in controlling the back pressure of the speaker unit, maximizing the performance of the driver. We followed the octagonal design common to the second generation MADOO brand lineup and adopted a color design that expresses the [heavy sound] of the Typ622. The silver coat reduces sound quality loss and brings out the original performance of the earphones. The connector section uses the [Pentaconn Ear] connector designed and produced by Nippon Dicks Co., Ltd., which boasts high sound quality and high reliability. Compared to conventional MMCX connectors, the plug and socket parts come into closer contact, resulting in superior conduction performance, as well as ease of attachment and detachment and robustness.
