Royal American power pop rock album!!
A ``heart-pounding'' power pop rock album that combines Adam Schlesinger's (Fountains of Wayne) specialty pop melodies with James Iha's (ex. Smashing Pumpkins) guitar. The lineup and sound are attracting attention not only from overseas but also from Japanese Western music rock fans, and it has already become a hot topic!
Taylor and Adam have been friends since the mid-1990s. Iha and Adam also met on their respective bands' tours and projects, and from 2000 they co-founded an indie label and recording studio. Tinted Windows was started when these three hit it off and wanted to create a sound that combined modern rock and pop with the power pop, rock, and new wave of the late 70's and early 80's that they were all influenced by.

The debut album was completed with veteran drummer Van E. Carlos, who readily agreed to participate at the strong request of the three members. They have already finished filming the videos for the two lead tracks, ``Kind of a Girl'' and ``Meshing with My Head,'' and are now starting full-scale promotion in the United States. We plan to actively perform live in the future.
