Precautions: Liver Warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Serious liver damage may occur if a child takes: The maximum daily dose more than 5 times in 24 hours or with other medications containing acetaminophen. Allergy Risk Warning: Acetaminophen can cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms that may appear include: Skin Redness Blisters Rash If skin reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. Sore throat warning: If sore throat becomes severe, lasts more than 2 days, or is accompanied by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, contact your doctor immediately. Do not use in the following cases: Taking with other medicines (prescription or over-the-counter) containing acetaminophen. If you are not sure whether your medicine contains acetaminophen, ask your doctor or pharmacist. For children taking prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitors (to treat depression, mental or emotional conditions, and Parkinson's disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping a MAOI medication. If you are not sure whether your child's prescription medication contains MAOIs, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Consult a doctor before use if a child has the following symptoms: Liver disease Heart disease High blood pressure Thyroid disease Diabetics A persistent or chronic cough that occurs with asthma A cough that occurs when a lot of phlegm (mucus) is produced in children taking the blood thinner warfarin Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking. When using the product: Do not exceed recommended dosage (see Dosage Warning). Discontinue use and consult a doctor if: Nervousness, dizziness, or insomnia occurs. If you have redness or swelling If your pain, stuffy nose, or cough gets worse or lasts longer than 5 days If new symptoms develop, if your fever gets worse or if it lasts longer than 3 days, if you cough again, have a rash, or have a persistent headache This may be a sign of a serious illness. Keep out of reach of children. Overdose warning Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage. In case of overdose, seek medical advice or call an emergency center immediately. Prompt treatment is important even if signs or symptoms are not felt. Store at 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F) and do not refrigerate.
