14.5mm planar magnetic field driver: Although planar magnetic field drivers have an extremely excellent frequency response range, they have the disadvantage of low efficiency, so they are often installed in headphones and have not been widely used in earphones. Although it has some drawbacks, it also has many advantages, so Suigetsu decided to use a planar magnetic field driver as the successor to Starfield. With Suigetsu Ue, we have improved the structure of the driver and added an independent acoustic cavity to precisely control the resonance frequency, significantly improving linear distortion and producing a more natural tone.
1μm sub-nanometer diaphragm: The Gunsei driver uses a sub-nanometer diaphragm with a thickness of only 1μm. The diaphragm part drives the diaphragm through a highly accurate 2μm etched electrical circuit and a magnetic field parallel to the diaphragm. This high-precision, ultra-thin diaphragm structure achieves lower nonlinear distortion during the vibration process, suppressing unnecessary resonance, resulting in clearer tones and richer details.
One of the best sound quality expressions among planar magnetic field earphones: Thanks to the excellent nonlinear distortion of this 14.5mm driver and MOONDROP's extensive earphone development experience, Gunsei has achieved one of the best sound quality expressions and performance among planar magnetic field earphones. In addition to having nonlinear distortion close to that of a flagship-class dynamic driver, it perfectly matches the VDSF Target Response that complies with HRTF (head-related transfer function), resulting in a cleaner, more faithful sound and richer details.
Design inherited from Starfield: Adopts the same paint treatment as the popular model "Starfield". Depending on the angle of the light source, it changes from indigo to purple, creating a unique color. Furthermore, we added beautiful design elements such as a golden moon, sun, and stars to create the theme of "Gunsei".
Two types of earpieces are included: Gunsei comes with Suigetsu's ``MIS TIP'' and Softears' ``U.C. earpiece.''
