Introducing the first complete collection of all 73 singles released by Off Course, recorded on 5 CDs!
It's been over half a century since it debuted in 1970.
A complete single collection that has never been realized until now to commemorate the 55th anniversary of “Off Course,” which still has a great influence on the Japanese music scene.
In addition to 24 singles and 48 songs from the Toshiba EMI (now Universal Music) era, 25 songs from 12 singles sold by FUN HOUSE (now SONY MUSIC Ariola Label) at the time were also recorded.
“To the Town You Live (Another Version),” which was released in 1988/2 and is now difficult to obtain, is a version that was not recorded when it was released on the analog edition on 1988/1/25, and was released as a CD single on the 25th of the following month. (Not included in “Complete Single Collection CD BOX [Limited Edition] UPCY-9918” released in 2020)
Furthermore, as a bonus track for DISC-3, 2 songs from “Jane Jane” and “One Boy” were recorded from their performance when participating in the “3rd All-Japan Light Music Contest Grand Prix 1969” held at the Tokyo-Shinjuku Welfare Pension Hall on 1969/11/2 under the name “The Off Course” before their debut.
The permanent preservation edition, which compiles all 73 singles and 2 songs announced by Offcourse, will be released exactly 55th year since their debut date on 1970/4/5.
