``Peonies and Butterflies'' is one of the 10 illustrations in the ``Hokusai Flower and Bird Art Collection'', which depict seasonal flowers and creatures by Katsushika Hokusai, an ukiyo-e artist from the late Edo period. The butterflies dancing softly around the blooming peonies gives you a sense of the wind in the painting. This is Kihari-e's first flower design, expressing a colorful original painting in wood.
