The ZPC-1 is a set of two matched pencil-type condenser microphones that enable full-scale stereo recording. From drum overheads to acoustic guitars, you can capture immersive stereo sound in the studio or on stage.
Both XY and AB methods
Two microphones with nearly identical sensitivity in both 100Hz and 1kHz frequency bands are selected. By combining two microphones with matching characteristics, ideal stereo recording is achieved. The XY method, in which two microphones are placed crosswise, produces a three-dimensional stereo sound image with natural depth and spread, while the AB method, in which two microphones are placed outward, produces a wider stereo sound image.
Ideal for field recording
The sturdy metal body is used, and a windscreen to suppress wind noise and a carrying pouch for easy portability are also included. You can also take it outside the studio and use it for stereo recording on live stages or in the field. When combined with ZOOM's 32-bit float-compatible field recorder "F3," it can be used in any environment as an ideal stereo recording device, providing outstanding mobility and professional-quality recording.
